My mother-in-law passed away several years ago and she quilted ALL the time! She always made quilts for 8th grade graduation, high school and college, as well as bridal and baby showers. I wanted to continue her tradition, so I made two quilts for my twin niece & nephew for their 8th grade graduation. Of course, they weren't finished until their sophomore year in high school, but they appreciated them! My nephew did not have a favorite color, so I made his in our school colors, red/gray/blue. My nieces favorite color was green, so hers is in green. I'm on my 3rd quilt now, and have been looking for patterns for my 4th, 5th, 6th, etc., quilts - I love it!!!

My nephews quilt, done in our school colors.

Very nice job! What a wonderful tradition to continue. I make for my sister's grandkids because we lost our mother and they will miss out on having her quilts.
