Default My first two tops. I hope you like them - cc welcome

Hello board members. Well after 12 months of procrastinating two weeks ago I went into the room I have prepared for quilting and started making two quilts for two of my grandchildren.

Bonnie is 5 and I have chosen a Snuggle Pot theme. Hers is the green one.

Angus is 2 and he will have an Octopus quilt to cuddle up to. His is blue.

At this stage they are only tops - this is a great achievement for me. Guild meeting tomorrow and I'm hoping to get some advice on quilting them and applying their names and a fussy cut of each theme using appliqué.

I intend using cotton batting; stitch in the ditch and maybe (?) some free motion work.

CC definitely welcome. All the best

These quilts are beautiful the grand kids will love them. They are simple the colors are mellow and go well together . This is class and it is hard to find these days.

They are darling. And the grandchildren will love that you made something special for them.

Very nice quilts, your points match exactly! I thought I was the worlds worst procrastinator but may have met my match.
