I went to an antique mall last week with 2 of my neighbors and found this old quilt for just $25. The fabrics look like 1930s or maybe 1940s.

They had a lot of old quilts and most of the prices were really good---I think I am going back soon. :D

Great quilt! It amazes me that we can find these old treasures that are so inexpensive, but yet people pay bunches of money for either newer quilts or mass manufactured ones.

    That's a great find.

I'd like to live somewhere I could find some of the old quilts. In my area, I'm always going to garage sales/flea markets but I've never seen a quilt for sale. I've never even seen quilting books/magazines.
