Oooooh how beautiful. You have made a gorgeous quilt top. My vote is for stippling between the flowers etc. I admire your work and the patience you have to do it.

Gorgeous quilt.....won't need much quilting as it is already a masterpiece.

This is a beautiful quilt. I love the William Morris designs. I bought the 2nd book and am doing a nursery quilt. It is time consuming but oh so we'll woth the effort. You did a fantastic job. Did you machine stitch around the edges or do needle turn? Your colors are outstanding. I find choosing the quilting design a little scary after all the beautiful work and effort that one invests in making the top of the quilt.
I take a scrap of background fabric and stipple it then lay it on the top and see how it looks. Then do the same using echo sample. Thanks for sharing. I think sometimes less is more.

Beautiful! If I had a wall large enough, this is one I would love to hang to show it off. I agree with others, less is more and loose stippling can be very dramatic. The pattern is in itself a 'busy' one and a lot of quilting could take away from it. I think you did very well in choosing your fabrics.

I think your quilt is absolutely stunning! You did everything perfectly. I can't stop looking at it...it is just so lovely. It obviously took a lot of preparation and work to complete this top and now that the top is done you must be admiring your work...I know I would be if I had accomplished it. I think your thought of stippling is right-on. It is going to be time consuming to do the stippling around all those pieces, but oh, so worth it.

If you could enter it in some show I am sure you would get a blue ribbon!
