Very pretty quilt - but I wonder too if you will be able to lift this quilt when done - those dahlia's are pretty heavy -But it is an awesome quilt...

Your fabrics are just beautiful. I have never seen a folded dahlia in a quilt before only pillows and bags. it is beautiful

The more I see the folded Dahlia the more I need to make one. I did one many years ago but will use a tut and make another. Love the blue and white. Thanks for the nudge to get one done...

Did you use the 6 1/2" blocks for the dahlia? I had seen some discussions about using smaller since you don't see the part that is underneath.

O.K. now. I have seen several of these folded dahlia blocks and they are all beautiful....but I have to know the truth....Are they as hard to make as they look? So far I have mastered the Bow Tucks, the Pillowcase and the Log Cabin.
