Sorry if this posts twice - I don't think it went thru the 1st time.
Anyway...my daughter and sil are expecting their 1st baby (my 1st grandbaby). they picked black gold and cream for the rooms colors. I took them out and they picked out all the fabrics for me to decorate the room (from crib ensemble to curtains). I will post pix of the room when it is finished. They didn't want any traditional colors, alpahbets or baby animals...whaaat? Anyway, here's the quilt - I snuck in a couple baby animals. They loved it - me too! It's super soft because of the furry faces and the back is minkee.

Ugh- made with home dec fabric!

That is adorable. Will it be washable with home dec fabrics? Did you design your own pattern?

Too cute! What a great mother/mother-in-law/grandma you are for not sticking your nose up at their choices, for supporting them all the way. I imagine it wasn't easy! :D

OMG!! I so love this quilt. I love the animal prints you used for the cat and one bear, it is totally different and I just think it is great! Was it difficult working with some of those home dec fabrics? I know they can be much heavier then traditional quilting cottons, like denim. Oh yes, love the touch of the print you used for leopard kitten's PJs! Too darn cute.
