I have a colleague who has become a friend and is leaving my organization for a new opportunity. I decided late Sunday afternoon that I wanted to give her a quilt at her going-away dinner last night. You can typically measure my quilt progress in months or years rather than days or hours. But not this time!

It was ready to present last evening and she was thrilled with it. Isn't it great when you see the "look" on their face when they realize it's a quilt?

What is the finished size, and how large are those big blocks of fabric? It's a lovely quilt. Great for showing off some beautigul fabrics.
