Default My French Rose Quilt

This is the first time for this type of quilt. It was easier than I expected. Had a fun time with the quilting. I also learned a very good lesson with this quilt. I used freezer paper for the quilting design. I stitched over the freezer paper design, but when it came time to remove it, I was pulling stitches out. So I then decided to wash it and hope it came off. Wrong, but at least the paper became soft and easier to take off. I will never use freezer paper again. A hard lesson to learn. I'm just glad it wasn't on a larger quilt. This quilt is 60 x 60.

Pretty...I learn something new with each quilt, and I try to do a different pattern every project. Nice job.

The quilt looks great. I made one a few years ago and it was a fun, easy quilt to make.

I'm so glad you posted this photo - a long while back I saw this pattern and made a mental note that I wanted to make one just like it. Should have made a written note! Love your color combinations and your quilting.

I love this! It's very old fashioned looking, and pretty! Is there a pattern?

pretty! It looks like it was a fun one to make despite the freezer paper issues! It really is a cheerful quilt!!
