My mom (Hazel B) has one she bought brand new when I was like maybe 5???
Still works... I will NOT be selling when she dies :D

Wow, impressive machine. It's Very nice, clean, pristine, all the accessories with the sewing cabinet, you have a very nice machine to enjoy.

I have my Mom's 1956 403. Loved sewing on it growing up, and absolutely love it still. Enjoy your fantastic find!!

There are all kinds of fantastic bargins featured on this board from yard sales, thrift stores, estate sales, etc. Nothing like that happens in West Virginia.

Great garage sale find. She is a beauty. The slant shank machines are great for some of us with bi-focals. It makes it easy to see what you are sewing. 8-)
