What a lovely gesture! He must be a special man and you his very special lady. I would keep the panel, add some borders and hang it somewhere, anywhere in your home.

Oh you have to keep it. I think he is trying to tell you how glad he is that you are better and that he prayed hard for that. He probably can't put his feelings into words. My husband is like that. He will do something for me so totally out of character it just makes weep. And I love your raspberry carpet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with the other ladies. If he thought that much of you, you I would finish it and keep it. I wish I would have kept every gift my late husband gave me. Cuppi

Something that thoughtful should be used in your own home.I wouldn't think of giving something like that away if my husband gave it to me.That is something to be thankful and grateful for.

That is so sweet, put a raspberry border on it. That would be really pretty.

You could remove the border and find the a color that blends with the border and the carpeting, like the green in the panel and blend them as the new border. Please keep it. I'm sure your DH might be hurt if it was given away, but proud of punch if he sees it in your sewing room or maybe the hallway?

What a beautiful surprise!! I'm with the masses here, frame it somehow and hang it in your sewing place.

i agree you should keep it & make a border, then hang it in your sewing room for you to see while you are on "your planet"
what a wonderful gift!
