Thanks, everyone, for the sweetest comments about Katelyn. She is my oldest grandchild and we share a real bond. Her daddy was deployed until she was 6 months old and even though I did not live close by then, I came to visit her at least once a month. It is amazing how fast she has grown up--turned 5 in August and started Kindergarten this year.

She is going to be a domestic diva, I think. She loves to cook, bake, craft and sew. She wants to be a mermaid when she grows up and marry a prince, like her dad!! We should all have such lofty goals.

She is sooo cute. Those are wonderful pictures! I love sharing a craft with a child. It's so fun watching them create. Her quilt is going to be beautiful.

She is gorgeous Martcia, what a lovely little girl. She is concentrating so hard, obviously she has watched you intently and knows exactly what to do there. Well done to you and especially Katelyn.

that is just too cute. I wish I had a gd interested in quilting. My daughters had no interest in crafts of any kind and it doesn't look like the grands will either.
