I have hand cut and pieced these together and then applicaed them onto white squares which I plan on shashing together for a queen size bed. What color do you think I should use for shashing?

I was thinking of black to make each color patch stand out. I have about 60 patches so far with some duplicates.

Those look beautiful! Why not do a scrappy sashing out of all the fabrics you used in the flowers. That would tie it all together.

I like that idea of doing sashing out of the fabrics from the flowers. The black might be to stark a contrast? Just a thought. Picking sashings are always so hard when you do scrappy designs. I am sure whatever you choose will be beautiful.

I sure like your blocks. If you were to use a green it might mimic the "path" in the traditional GFG. I'm seeing a med. to lightish small print of some sort. Perhaps a 30s type. What size are your blocks and hexagon's? What ever you do, it will be lovely.

Beautiful blocks!!! I think a light green in a 30's print for sashing would kind of tie it all together too -- but then the black would really make each block stand out. Why not do a little auditioning before you decide?
