It is truly beautiful and light and bright. Those were the true fabrics not the reproductions eh? I have several old quilts and I do believe they have some of the same material in them that my great aunt and grandmother made with their mother.

I also love the room.

That is an awesome quilt! It was made by hand too! Wow, that is really something wonderful to have.

It's beautiful - on my list of "to do's"... I have one partially started with tiny little squares already cut - done by a lady who was 94 when she passed, and I got her "remnants". Kids did not like quilting and did not know all this "junk" was a quilt in motion! So, one day I'll get at it - will be very hard to find like fabric, but have been looking for calicos to stay with the likes of what it was started with... one day it will be finished; might not get to be a queen sized quilt - but finished none the same.

Gorgeous. I am currently doing one so I am even more in awe after finding how time consuming the pattern is. And I love scrap quilts.

The decoration of the dresses and hat in the background is just too wonderful

My Grandmother had made one just like (or close) to this. My cousin got it when she passed, so it lives in Texas and I live in Wisconsin....your Mom's room so fits the quilt!
