Default My Grandmother's Garden...made the top almost 10 years ago

This was a pattern from Eleanor Burns' book. Mom and I both made one almost 10 years ago. She finished hers with hand quilting and took BEST OF SHOW in a local quilt show. I just finished quilting mine.....better late than never, right? I still need to clean up the threads and get the binding on but I thought I would show you the pix. I did it free motion and ruler work on my Nellie2..my Gammill. I like the way it turned out but I should have made it bigger for my bed.

That is probably one of the most beautiful quilts I have seen. I love how the print fabric sets a stage for the baskets. And the flowers-wow. You did a beautiful job and I hope you enter it into a show and others can admire it. Wonderful job.

Gorgeous! I would add another border to make it fit the bed. I would make a large frame for it in the burgundy and put the ric rac at the edge you attach to the quilt or just do a matching bed skirt.

Copy what everyone else said, but also, how in the world did you measure and piece the curved border? That is so unique!
