My daughter wanted me to make her dolly an outfit that looks like a quilt LOL. I got this kit and made it today and I still have to make the matching purses but I think it came out pretty good. The skirt looks like strip piecing but it's all one piece ;) Cant wait till she wakes up to see if she likes it :)

Love it! Maybe she could have a matching skirt that looks like her doll? It would be so cute.

That is soooo cute. She will love it. I used to sew my daughter a dress to match her dollys. She loved it. That was many many years ago. Oh to have them little again.

So cute. My daughter (now 22) fondly remembers a cloth doll that was big enough to wear 2yr old clothes that I made her when she was a baby. I had worked on it so hard even painted the face instead of sewing it on; I was amazed at how great she turned out. When my daughter got older she decided to put makeup on this cloth doll; it never came out. I just bought a pattern to make her daughter (4mos today) a Ragedy Ann doll. I also want to get some patterns and the doll to make the 18in ones. You did a really great job and I'm sure as she gets older she'll also appreciate the work you did for her.

I have been making the Daisy Kingdom Doll dresses and putting them away for my future granddaughter for a long time now. I can't wait to be in your shoes one day and be able to surprise my little one with dresses!! You are blessed
