Your quilt is beautiful. I am happy that you found something to help you through the mourning process. I lost my mom in November, and like you, I turned to what I love to help me through. Lots of prayers and stitches later, I feel at peace. I still miss her, of course, but I know that she is no longer suffering and that is the one thing I asked from God. Now I thank Him for giving me an outlet for my grief.

You should be really proud of yourself for completing this quilt top. When it is finished you can snuggle under it and try to remember all the wonderful things about your DH and the times you shared together!

so sorry for your loss.. i know how u feel i have lost my mom almost 2 yrs ago and i still have a tough time. i have started quilting as she loved to quilt.. keep quilting.
