Default Fun finishes for friends

I have the greatest neighbors - they are 72 y/o twins (ladies) that have spent a lifetime farming, raising cattle, running a John Deere shop, cutting/baling hay, mowing acres of land regularly, etc... still very, very active women that keep my husband and I young! They love color but they don't like anything fancy - no swirly, girly, pretty quilting.. no fancy, dancy fabrics.. just plain bright color..

I made these two quilts for them this week and just brought them over - perfect as today is, by far, the coldest day this winter! They loved them

Fabrics and pattern are from www.craftsy.com - they were super simple and fun to put together!

Thanks for looking!

They are both awesome. I think your 72 twin ladies sound like the sweetest neighbors. What a wonderful gift. In the midst of your bad weather, they are cheerful and will keep them warm.

I think you are their best neighbor! These are so cheerful. Of course I love bright colors, who doesn't! Nice job, nice heart to give and nice neighbor!

Beautiful and colorful quilts. How kind of you to do this wonderful gesture. It sounds like you are very lucky to have such great neighbors. God Bless those great ladies and I am sure they were so thankful for such beautiful gifts.
