Beautiful quilt and thank you for sharing the story behind it. I think a quilt's story (and most of them have one) makes it so much more special. Leopold is a handsome fellow and he looks so loving. It is amazing how these guys know when we are hurting and can do so much to help us heal.

Pauline, this is absolutely beautiful!! It looks very pretty as well as comforting. Thank you so much for sharing your story. A similar thing happened to our family...we found our dog just a month before finding out my Mom had cancer. Riley gave us much love and comfort during my Mom's illness and after her death. It seems like our pets come into our lives just at the right time to help us when we need it the most. Blessings to you!

Absolutely beautiful remembrance and tribute. A very touching story. You and Leopold are lucky to have each other, and I'm sure you both take great comfort in being covered by such a beautiful quilt.

It's lovely and I'm glad it's a comfort to you.

Leopold is the twin our our cat, Tony. Couldn't tell them apart.

I love the headboard on your bed too. It's simple but interesting!

I love your Larry quilt! What a great thing to do with his shirts in his memory. Leopold looks like he loves it too!
