Hi Pauline, Larry's quilt is lovely. I am so sorry for your loss, sadly I lost my dh too in 08 and I made a quilt out of his shirts and jeans and gave one to each of the 5 kids and kept one for myself, I feel really close to David and it will always be on my bed. I hope this quilt gives you hours and hours of comfort. The cat is beautiful too

I don't know what it is about quilts made from old shirts but they have a certain charm. I'm one of those folks, if you don't wear it, you toss it. Now, I wish I hadn't tossed so much, I would have loved a quilt out of my Dad's shirt and he had a zillion of them. Your quilt is so nice. What size are your 9 patches?

What a beautiful memory for you. You can look at the prints and remember what he was doing while wearing the shirts. Love the quilt.
