I love your depiction of a favorite book. I read that book when I was in grade school and again a couple of years ago- the nostalgia thing. You certainly met the challenge with a wonderful entry. If they award ribbons you deserve top prize!

I had to laugh as I was typing a reply to your quilt photo. I didn't notice the wording you had typed below the quilt photo so I was going to suggest calling it "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn" due to the tree and the background buildings. Decided to go back and look at it one more time before hitting send and that's when I saw what you wrote about it. Of course I had to delete my post and start over. So you can be sure that is exactly what you portrayed ... and beautifully!

This is just beautiful! I enjoyed "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" when I was young, and you did it proud.
