Thumbs up Saturday project

I sew samples for my LQS and she pays me in supplies to support my quilting habit! This is the latest project she wants sewn. My LQS is Calico Hutch in Hayward, MN and it is my favorite and I've been to a lot of shops! The little pouches are from the pattern Cash & Carry from Atkinson Designs...

They look really cute - and what a nice barter arrangement you have made. Good going!

Sounds like a great arrangement, and a terrific way to support your habit! Nice work!

Wow you have a good thing going!! Love the little bags. My friend and I make bags from our scraps and they turn out so cute. Different sizes - get zippers online for very very cheap. All our friends have little bags for their golf tees, etc.

I love Calico Hutch also. Have been there a few times on shop hops, and my daughter lived there for a couple of years.

Like these, especially since they are made in MN. Can't wait to get up there this summer at our lake cabin by DL.

Nice exchange! I've been to the Calico Hutch once and it's a great store! Need to get back there again.

The samples are wonderful.

When in Minnesota to visit my in laws, I come to the Calico Hutch. It is a great shop and the ladies are so sweet. The shop seems inviting as you walk into a smaller room but then you walk into the second large room with just tons more fabric and all those samples and even more samples in the classroom. If anyone from the board gets a chance to go there, do take it.
