Thank you for all your kind words, but I have to say they are so easy to do nothing like the hard work that goes into the many beautiful quilts that have been shown on the site.
For the winter scene I did cut the panel into squares then made it back into a picture using the attic window design. The poppy one I also cut into squares then just added the black sashing. I have a few more picture panels so will post them when I have completed them.
I have found the best place to buy them is a web site in the US as my source in the UK seems to be having difficulty getting them
www.quilternatives.com they are all Michael Miller, if anyone knows of another producer please let me know, if you look on the Michael Miller website you will be amazed at some of the patterns, however they would be rather expensive to make.

Have a go but beware you dont become addicted like me.

Regards Katherine

I love them all! I can't figure out how you do them, but they're really cool.

I like looking at those bright orange flowers and trees in the field. That's my favorite one.

The winter scene is really nice too.

They're both beautiful and I was wondering about doing something like this. Thank you!

The poppy and and tree is my favorite, though I do love them both.

I REALLY like the first one.
Ok, I really should STOP looking at pictures.

These are just beautiful. I've always been intrigued with Attic Windows and hope to make one someday. I have a question . . . When you cut the scenic panel into squares, do you cut away a little extra for the part of the "window" where you wouldn't be able to see the scene? Is that clear? Don't know if it would really matter much. Seems like I'd be so afraid to cut!
