Beautiful quilt. Ha! it seems that more often than not my seam ripper and I have become more than best friends. We seem to be identical twins we are so close. lol.

Your quilt is gorgeous just like it is. Looks fine to me and I especially LIKE the borders.

i like the border arrangement in the photos very much. the stars "float". i've added it to my list of ideas to steal. :-)

Oh thank goodness. I looked and looked and didn't see a mistake. I thought I was loosing my mind. It's a great quilt. Beautiful color combo. Thanks for sharing.

pstoner,
Am I correct in what you did, where the pic. shows a white 2nd border (actually correct?) a black inner border as the 1st. Your 1st inner border is white and black would be your 2nd with red the 3rd. I may not be making myself clear, but that is what I understand you have done. When you look at the correct pic. you posted, the white design or shape, is in the center, then a red design is next and finally a black. I think any way would be fine, your choice, you could make the red the 2nd border with the black as the outer border, and you would be following the quilt color the way it is. Whatever you decide, the quilt is beautiful, just decide and enjoy it. You did a lovely job!!!
