This is a link for making the Sock Snowmen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pB4jFqkn8MY I added the arms and believe it or not, finding enough twigs that were shaped right was the most difficult thing to find. My DH took my "yellow ball pins" and we placed them all around a cardboard box. Then we put baby white buttons on the base. He was so sweet to paint them all black for the eyes and "belly buttons". I used several different size socks to make them so they varied in size. I gave them sized according to the level of management. Baby socks makes one about 4" high plus the little hat.

Thanks for all the suggestions

That snowman is beautiful. You did a great job. The recipients should be very pleased with their gifts.

Microwave bowls. They are fast when you assembly line them. Great for office gifts. Gave my daughter one and she instantly got orders from her office workers for them.

I did mug rugs. Had a cup pattern from a quilt I made for my sister (hers was tea pots and cups on a bookcase). Anyway, I used one of the larger cup patterns and found fairly large pointsettia flower fabric at JoAnn's. Fused a fussy cut flower to a cup and fused it to the background fabric, (about 6 or 7 inches tall by about 10 1/2 long). I then appliqued the word JOY or HOHO on the other side. It was big enough for a mug of coffee or tea and a cookie or two.
Lots of cute patterns out there for mug rugs if that is what you decide on for next year.
