Default For My Little Ladybug - Cuddle Quilt

I'm seriously IN LOVE with this Playtime Quilt Pattern from Karie Patch Designs. Best $9 purchase EVER!

I whipped up one in the "cuddle size" (22" x 22") for my adorable niece, Miss L.

I'm getting much better with matching my seams, but my mitered corners still need some work. I used the binding tool and OMG I LOVE THAT THING!!! I could never get my binds to look good, but this thing is amazing! I used my machine to sew on the binding and then hand-bound it on the back.

This quilt is really cool. It has three-dimensional ties on it that you can clip those stroller toys to so they don't lose them :-) Can't wait to give it to her this weekend!

Thanks for looking!

Rosie: Love the twisted bow ties, what a cute idea! Perfect for a little girl. So glad your getting satisfaction from improving skills. I've been quilting since the end of the 60's, and improving is still the greatest source of satisfaction. Always so glad to see a new generation falling in love with quilting.

I got it from Missouri Star Quilting Company (Binding Tool). They have a video tutorial showing how to use it too!

I just used that binding tool last night for the first time. OMG! it is fantastic. So easy to use once you understand how to use it.

Great Cuddle quilt!!!
