They are not difficult to make and keep in mind that each log cabin square is cut in half to make two santa faces. they were a real hit a guild meeting yesterday.

Very cute! I am thinking a bell could go into the hollow body also.

Thanks for sharing these and the web site. They are delightful! A friend made them, but she wouldn't share the directions. Maybe she had a pattern that said copyrighted.

I tried translating the cm to inches. As close as I can tell it makes the center square about 2 1/2" and the strips 1" cut sizes, does this sound right? What size did you end up with before rolling them (when they look like pot holders)? Thanks. Jan

my finished square is 6.5" before sewing into a cone. i rarely follow a pattern exactly, but your2.5" seems right

I made some of these after seeing the original post. They are super easy and go together quickly. The challenge is that each one makes two Santas so think ahead what you are going to do with two. My hairdresser is getting one, my niece the other.

These would be great little gifts. Too late for this year but I hope I can remember them for next year. Cute Santas.

These are so cute. They could be used as ornaments, or garland and great gifts.
