Default My MamMaw started and I finished

My MamMaw made these blocks many years ago. Fabric looks to be 40's or 50's. I sashed and machine quilted. I'm sure someone could have done a better job and I not so happy with the binding, but I LOVE IT in spite of it. The blocks had to be "blocked" as they were way off and that's my first time doing that and I've never used muslin for backing, but it was perfect for this quilt.

That is so pretty, and I'm sure you will cherish it for a long time, knowing your mammaw started it and you got to finish it. Good job.

Beautiful and oh so meaningful that you kept her alive in your memories by finishing the quilt she started so long ago.

I love the colors in the blocks. I don't recognize the pattern right off. But you did a great job finishing it for her. I am sure it will be treasured.
