Default For my mom

We had to move my 83 yr old mom into assisted living. She has always had a king size bed and now is on a full size. We are doing everything we can to make her room like home. I live 200mis away but my sister lives nearby. I made a full size quilt for her new bed. They are going to bring it to her tonight and FaceTime me. I am excited to see it she likes it. It is machined pieced and I quilted it on my Juki T2010. Enjoy!!

Lovely quilt and make sure you have her name on the label so it doesn’t go missing!

That is beautiful and will make her new place very homey. It is hard when you can't be close to parents as they age and need different kinds of assistance. I went through that with my Mom/Dad years ago. Back then we didn't have all the technology there now is available. She will love it.

that is beautiful! seriously beautiful!! Did you embroider her name in it? I would have. I made my sister one while she was in Rehab.A hurricane came through and they sent most people home. When she went back the quilt was gone of course. I told her i had put her name in the border and she said "you did?". Yep, i did.
also did that on granddtr's quilts and mentioned that to their Mother. she was very surprised. i think she had already sold them!! Oh well, hopefully someone enjoyed them!
