I finished this a few months ago and show it as my avatar. A couple of people have contacted me via PM and ask for a full size picture and the pattern. I purchased a kit at my LQS. It is Jo Morten fabric - civil war colors. The pattern is a simple nine patch and snowball alternating. I altered the original pattern to make it longer and a little wider. My mom's likes a larger lap quilt. Good Luck!

I never get tired of 9-patch and snowball :) works with any fabric: calico, batiks, flannel, modern, vintage...

The black corners on the snowballs really give it a 3-D appearance! Great job!!

I know. I love that it is two different views. It really adds to the quilt. This was one of my favorite projects. Besides the fact that I knew my mom would love it. I feel in love with it as well.

What a striking quilt, and so easy to do. I am bookmarking this one, and will make it without a doubt. Thanks for the info.

It may be, as you say "a simple 9-patch and snowball" but it is really a great quilt. Looks more intricate.
