I promise......this won't be a sad story. When my Mother passed about a year ago, my wonderful sister gave me her stash. Knowing I love to quilt, she knew I would them. Wow...she collected a lot of fat quarters!!! As a surprise for my sister.....I made this quilt for her. The top is made entirely from my Mother's stash. My sister cried when she received it. And I made one for me too. Machine pieced and all hand quilted.

Heart warming story and beautiful quilt. I love the way the circles over the pinwheels give such a sense of motion.

I like what you did for your Mother, putting her stash to the use she intended when she bought it. I like what you did for your sister and yourself when you made the quilts. Your work is very nice. I like the quilt. /Regards, Dorothy

What a lovely story to go with a lovely quilt. I'm sure it'll be in the family for a long time with a tale like that.

You did a beautiful job making the quilt but the best part is the memory you and your sister will have you look at the quilt.
