Oh that's beautiful work! My Mum taught me how to embroider when I was a little girl...and even now I cant resist buying anything emboidered.
Would your Mum like to adopt me? Then I could persuade her to embroider a rose for me! lol! (my eyesight's not what it was!)

That is so good that your mother still continues with her love of sewing, lots of people just give up, maybe because of poor eye site? I hope my eyes hold out for me.
I love the roses and the vines and leaves are beautiful, I wish I had seen this a few months ago. I'm making a border right now and I love her leaves better then the ones I'm using. I'll have to make a sketch so I can remember this pattern. Did she machine applique or embroidery the leaves? I'm doing mine by hand applique and I'm not really in any hurry, I've got the center of the quilt competed and hanging on a hanger waiting for the boarders.. One almost done and three to go!

Thanks for sharing and be sure to tell your mother her work is awesome! If she's in the market for another daughter... I know where she can find one!

This one is the one we made for our oldest daughters wedding several years ago.

Yes I do have the blocks stacking up. Someday.
