Girl, you are going to be a long time discovering the complete wonderfulness of your new baby. Mine is a year old and still I am finding more and more I love about it. One piece of advice, take some time and make a sample on a 24" square piece of doubled fabric, of each of the stitches. You will not be sorry. Put the number of the stitch and a mark of some kind, like an "A" beside it if it can be adjusted, as some of them can. I named mine Honey cause she is so sweet! Also, if you do not have someone who can answer questions about your new baby, ask away. I am pretty comfortable with Honey and had a 6500 before her, so I can pretty much answer your questions.

She's beautiful. Since someone said she looks like a work horse, you could name her Nellie, as in whoa Nellie. Just a thought. Have fun with her.

I recently purchased the same machine and I find myself overwhelmed by all that it can do. I wish the manual came with better detailed instructions. I named mine Ruby….you know….Ruby Red? Good luck and Happy Quilting!

My thoughts were"Looks like a real Honey of a machine", so I was thinking Honey would be a good name! Congrats!

She is beautiful. Perhaps name her Big Red! LOL...that's an old horse movie! But if she is a workhorse it may fit.

Congratlations, from all I've heard she a wonderful machine. I'm sure you'll have hours of fun together.
