My New Baby and What She Can Do!!!

Well, I finally found a Featherweight. I go to lots of classes and retreats and wanted something lightweight to use and also, well, wanted something with character. I found both in "Lilly". She's awesome! I took a quilting class at my LQS, my first ever attempt at paper piecing and Lilly really hung in there and proved herself. The second photo is the Glacier Star that Lilly and I made together. Just finished it on Saturday!

That is a VERY impressive first paper-piecing attempt.

Usually people start with an 8" star block. ;-)

It's a beautiful quilt. Really awesome.

OMG is that quilt gorgeous..... and congratulations for finding Lilly.You two make an awesome team :D :D

If Lily came to my house, could she do a quilt that beautifully? I suspect the operator had much to do with the success LOL
