Nice tote!
Thank you to all of you for your kind words! I have enjoyed using it! I think on my next one I won't pick buttons that I don't like! I will stack two different size buttons and stitch them on the bottom.

Sweetpeaches-I really wanted this bag to stand on its own and I started with a very hard stiffner in it but really didn't like the way it looked and felt. I used it this way for the weekend but came across Annie who makes purses and totes and they were beautiful and very sharp looking. I sat through her seminar at the Sew Expo and that's where I learned about Soft and Stable. It is so easy to work with and it's comfortable and durable. Please do look at her website and see her beautiful creations! (byannie.com) I've admired yours you've shared on the board and they are adorable!

Very cute, one of my friends in our quilting class has us saving these for her, for a friend is making things out of them.
Cute idea and then you don't waste that part.

Your bag is wonderful! What a great idea, I never thought of keeping my selvages. Gosh, I'd have a ton if I had kept them through the years. I'm 51 now, but starting sewing when I was 13. I love your tote.
