Good for you. Maybe you need to get Abby her own. :I
Is it a model 3760? Looks like you have a decent amount of stitches and things on it.

Isn't it wonderful to have such a nice machine! I took the plunge and bought a Janome 6200 2 years ago and it has done a wonderful job for me. I know you will really go to town with it. Happy sewing.

What a beautiful machine. Congrats, but after looking at kitties face I think you have a fight on your hands. Funny pic.

Oooh, trying not to be jealous! I've been wanting to get a Janome to travel with - classes, guild sew-ins, a yearly retreat. My Bernina, although much loved, is crazy heavy and it's a pain to take it out of the sewing table, tote it, then put it all back.

When I saw the first picture, I had to giggle and wondered if this was really your machine, or kitty's? Or maybe he/she is not wanting you to take time to sew but would rather you spend more time petting? Cute picture!

Have fun!

My husband surprised me with the American Quilting Association" 25th anniversary machine. It is light weight, 14-15 pounds which includes the carrying case. It has many features you would enjoy, needle up-down, speed control, etc. I, too, have a Bernina which I love except for the weight. Since it was a AQA 2009 promotional machine, several places on the internet were selling them for a good price.
