It has been about a week before Christmas since I have stepped foot into my studio to do anything sewing related. Well I finally got out there to do work on a project.

So here is the fruits of my effort, although I was taking some pretty strong pain meds for my back (that might explain the use of colors and a few miss matched points) I think it turned out somewhat okay. All that is left is sandwiching the top and quilting.

This is for my newborn great nephew I used the basic pattern from the "Quilt for Kids".

Nice job. I like that blue fabric...looks like a mosaic.
I have had that fabric for sometime now (2 years or so) and I picked it up at my local Hancock Fabrics for 85% off. I ended up buying about 6 or so yards of it along with a ton of other fabrics.

I have had the hardest time trying to use that color in anything. I am glad it worked for what I used it for. I was seeing double there for a little bit!
