Happy Birthday. Congratulations on your find. I also found my FW at a thrift store, not even looking for one that day.
I got another one yesterday I bought from a friend, I have not opened the package yet.
the first one has been serviced and the plug replaced, as it was missing when I bought it.
I will probably sell the first one and keep this one.

You have just experienced my dream come true! The whole scenario, the thrift shop, the manual, the attachments, the beautiful featherweight that works.... And my birthday is in a couple of weeks! lol.... Happy Birthday, by the way!

Congratulations and Happy Birthday! You are one lucky lady. I never find anything exciting in a thrift store or yard sale. Enjoy!!

I cleaned it; oiled it; and it runs like a champ. Case is in need of some repair, but there are lots of attachments with it and the original manual. Monday was my birthday so this is my present to myself.
What a beautiful birthday present. May I ask the price of this beauty?

DH is a good shopper. Looks like a centennial. There is a blue ring on the Singer medallion?
