Here is the purple rail fence that I made some time back. It just came out of the hand quilting frames a few minutes ago. I still need to put the binding on. I am torn between the purple that is on the back or the purple flower in the border. Please help. I would like to start it this evening.
Thanks ahead of time.

Whom that is amazing. I took these pics outside to get true color. This made the colors worse. Anyway it is purple and not blue.

this one is truer color of the back at least

I like the purple on the back. But whichever you chose, it will be pretty.

I would say the same as your backing.

I think white would look good.

Pretty! I would lay both out and see if one looks better than the other. I usually pick a darker shade for binding.

I often use a binding that contrasts with the border, but this one says stay with the purple to me. I like that print on the back. I used it in the periwinkle for backing recently.

Go with the green that is running thru the center... it would make it pop.

The flower in the border is the lighter colored fabric, right?

I always like my bindings to be dark (doesn't show wear and dirt as much, plus it kind of "ends" a quilt for me), so my vote would be for the backing fabric as binding.

Oops. Just read the other posts. Same as the last border would be great!
