    My newest endeavor

This is a work in progress. I am going to call it "Circadian" because it reflects the colors from a 24 hour cycle in a forest. I have to redo the silhouettes because they seem a bit rough to me.

The quilt you see, is a part of me.
In your hand is the sum of my parts
My mind, my body and a piece of my heart.
Wrap in it, lay on it, cry, and dream.
It's made to help you know what love means.

Oh I could lose myself in your quilt imagining goingson in the forest. No grass under the feet of the deer. Be sure to post picture when completed. Colors are fantastic. Another one I'm going to add to my favorites list.

This quilt is fabulous!! The way you have it lighter in the center really makes the sillouhettes stand out. Very nice!

I would quilt a tree into it, using a dark green, towards black. Make it big, like a shadow over them but a hugh trunk down in the corner. I just love it but I feel something is missing. I love the colors used.

I think it's beautiful. Great job.
Fabric is like money, no matter how much you have it's never enough.

it is just gorgeous, but the suggestion of quilting in the forest speaks to me. Or a lake with a tree on the shore. It's easy to suggest all kinds of elaborate designs for quilting when you don't need to execute them.
I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day.

I love your poem beneath your picture. Is it your original, or is there another Author.?

Thank you. I too felt that "something" was missing. A tree had crossed my mind also. I have been looking for silhouettes of trees that may be appropriate. Should you have one, please email it to me. ([email protected])

I think you "hit me on my head" audsgirl. I am deep thinker and love to express my thoughts and feelings in various kinds of media. I enjoy writing and painting also. I am now beginning to dare to enter the unknown world of art quilting...

    Hello Dee,
Yes it is my own poem. Feel free to steal it as long as you give me credit. I am slowly putting together a book of poetry and prose. I only wish I could draw so I could illustrate some of my work.
