Default "Grandog" Quilt

I participated in a dog block swap here on the QB last year. It was my first swap of that kind. I received many very nice blocks. My DD and SIL have there "baby" that they rescued from the local Humane Society. I let them go through the blocks and pick out the ones they wanted for his quilt. I had my first grandson in the mean time, (same DD and SIL are the parents). So, needless to say, I focused my quilting time on my human grandson. I finally finished the quilt for my grandog, Wilbur. As you can see, he loves it.His nickname is crocie because he is long like a crocodile. Thanks to the swappers that made this possible. My LQS did the quilting of pawprints on it. I think it was the first quilt anyone brought in for a dog.

Love your quilt! I have way too many grand-dogs to make quilts. Six kids and ten dogs! Beauriful dog to enjoy your quilt.

That is an awesome quilt. I can see Wilbur loves it, too. They love their grammas just like the human ones do - and know how to get their way as well.
