I had so much fun making this! I love the colors. I made this this weekend for a gift to my great neice.

I love it! Are the fabrics regular cotton or flannel? Most of the rag quilts I have seen are flannel or denim. How many layers of fabric did you use?

barb, the fabric is 100% cotton. All found at walmart. I used a med weight flannel cotton for the middle. All cut the same size. 7" without stitching an x in each squares, as it was not needed. I used a 1/2 seam allowance. I just love this quilt. i'm very fond of bright colors.( the back and the front layers are the same with a flannel insert, only fringed on the front.
someone had mention about fringe on both sides but I would think this would be unconforatable to the touch of your skin.

Catherine -- I am a very fond of bright colors too...that was one thing I loved about this quilt

I really like this pattern. I have been wanting to make a quilt with "Rag Flowers" and this is perfect. Thank you for sharing!
