I have been wanting to do one of these for quite some time but was very intimidated. I now feel silly as they aren't hard at all. All straight line sewing, no set in seams which was the thing holding me up but lots of sewing. I am going to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it and I already have the wall in my bedroom picked out to hang it.

I love the fabric. Not being such a OBW fan, I would love to use that in something that show's the fabric!!!

I think it would also be pretty as a 4 patch posie as that is what I really wanted to do but this class was a the LQS so I took it.

Absolutely gorgeous blocks!

I've been playing around with 4-Patch Posies this past week, and while they're great fun, easy, etc., their complexity only approximates what you've achieved with your hexagons. I think I'm gonna graduate to an OBW next time!

That's coming out beautifully. I really like your choice of fabric. I just got a OBW book from the library, today, so that I can learn to make one also. I think they come out awesome looking!

Keep going you will be so surprised how it comes out. Each block is so diffrent. The hardest part is how to arrange it lol. I have OBW on my design wall and its taking me forever! Yours looks beautiful I love your fabric. I have another couple of fabric to make 2 more 1 is similar to yours only in brown. Can't wait to get to them : )
Have fun!
