I was cutting my squares after embroidering the butterflies and mean't to cut them to be sewn on point, but forgot, OOPS!

But I like the way it turned out anyway :D The butterflies are in variegated thread.

This is another baby quilt (just the top right now) for charity for my guild. It's 40 X 40.

What a lucky baby who will get the quilt!! It is really pretty! I love that the butterflys aren't facing straight up. It is a better arrangement in my opinion (more interesting) to have them at an angle.

    It's a great looking quilt!

Thanks everyone, I really like this one too.

The pink design is an OESD design and the other one came built into my machine, but you could probably find it at OESD.com too as I have a Bernina.

I know you meant it to look just like that. That's your story, and you're sticking to it! Your quilt is beautiful!

This is a time when a "mistake" is an improvement! Love the butterfly design and the fabric choices.

I think I like it better this way. If you had put the blocks on point, the embroidered butterfly blocks would have gone back to straight. This layout looks better IMO.
