Here is my Purple and White Cross Quilt top that I just finished making. There is a 6 inch border all the way around it that isnt showing as my husband was holding it up for me that is the same fabric as the cross itself.
I made it using 5"x5" blocks. And when I assembled it, I did it by doing a 9 patch for each section. Hope you enjoy. I will try later to get a better picture of it.

Looks great, Charismah has inspired you! Are you gonna let her quilt it or are you quilting it? I've been wanting to do this pattern with a different twist, you've inspired me to lay down my current christmas quilt and start this one.

LOL its okay Charismah. When my neighbor gets home from town, I am going to have her hold one end and my husband hold the other end so that the whole thing will be seen. It measures at 92x102 perfectly. I was real careful sewing my seams so that they ae all exactly the same. And in the end it has paid off.
I measured it from just a couple inches down from the top straight across
then I measured across the middle and then a few inches from the bottom across. And all 3 measurements were the same. LOL woohoo!!
And then I measured it the same way but going up and down.
I must say this was the first time that one of my quilts came out like it should on the measurements. :)
AND IT PAYS to iron each seam. LOL

Here is a better picture of the quilt top. Thats Charles on the left, my neighbor Rashelle, and her kids Hayden 5yrs and Lillee Viola almost 2. Lillee is the quilt inspector.
Charles and Rashelle neither one of them wanted it to touch the ground so its not fully flat. LOL But its still gorgeous.
