Love it. So few of us do hand embroidery anymore, and it's great you're going w/your own color scheme! Can't wait to see the finished product.

Wow!! I wish I could do hand embroidery that well, but you have gotten me to at least find a redwork pattern to try :) I envy those that can do hand embroidery that well.

I would love to have those embroidery patterns. I absolutely love using embroidered blocks in my quilts.

I'm lovin the purple and the fabric you used for the pieced squares is gorgeous! I am going to do one in the traditional redwork and have been looking for the snowflake white-on-white that you have used. Where did you get it? If you don't mind me asking.
