Purple!!!! Great choice. I did a non-traditional christmas quilt last year, my background was white with purple. Blocks were mostly blue and green with a little red and I quilted it in orange, which looks more gold until look closely. I love the unexpected. Look forward to seeing your beautiful quilt together.
