My Quilt I Made for my Best Friend at my Quilt Retreat.

The quilt was to big to show the full bordes as was hanging off my patio doors. Was not easy doing the outer setting triangles for the border . Hope you like and is out now at the LAQ getting quilted .It is 93x103 so good size. My friend loves it too and so i do I.

Is that the square in a square pattern? I am working on one right now with butterflies and I hope it turns out as beautiful as yours. I just love your border on this do you mind if I ask which pattern you used for that?

Size: 875.4 KBThe quilt pattern i got from a book i bought called Singular Sensations - by Barbara Douglas as has 14 different quilt pattern all from the one block. This one is called Incline Steps and it was a little tricky to do the last outside border as you are working the block but addding in Side Triangles that are cut on the bias so was my first time with them , Had to be very careful not to stretch them. But i was happy with the way it turned out and am making 2 more from that book .It is well worth buying for sure ..All that is left now that LAQ is done is add my binding.
