I'm curious - how did you do the border with the little wavy strip??
What she said!

I'm curious also about that border -- it is great.

If you are talking about the floral wavy strip, I just followed the floral pattern on both sides. The blue strip I just did some small loops. For the large border I used a template all around the quilt and filled in as I went.

If you talking about the puffiness --- I used two layers of batting. One layer of Hobbs cotton batting and one layer of Hobbs wool batting. I saw it on one of the quilt shows and I thought it looked great a little puffy!

Dinah, Is that wavy border appliqued on the lighter fabric? or does the fabric have that wavy strip in it already?
Thanks!
