(((HUGS))) I would have a hard time parting with this quilt too... Not only is it gorgeous, but also for the memories it holds as well (((HUGS)))

Glad you are keeping it. Just think - every time you wrap yourself up in this quilt your Father is giving you a great big hug!

Yes, keep it without any guilt. I lost my dad suddenly when I was 18. So I know what you have gone through. I have a fleece and flannel throw I made for my husband when he was battling lung cancer, to keep him toasty warm. I feel sad when I see it, remembering what he went through, but it also makes me feel happy to touch it, knowing how much he loved it. And my older grandkids like wrapping in it too remembering their "Pepop" cuddling in it.

The quilt would be beautiful no matter what, but the tears and grieving make it that much more beautiful. Hug it when you are missing your dad. May you be comforted.
