Thank you, I just grabbed scraps, and clothes that I took apart.

It might be a while before it is quilted
next project is Abbey Road, along with some classes mother in law wants me to take with her. Abbey Road is the class assigned quilt. (mother in law already took the first class, she said she doesn't see a need for me to take it, as it is too basic for what I already know, plus most of it will end up being covered in the 2nd class, which is what she signed us up for)

so hopefully, these classes will also have a section for how to make the quilt sandwich and how to machine quilt it (I know how to make the sandwich, but not how to machine quilt, been thinking of making a small thing like a mug rug just to try it out)

Been checking in regularly to see your progress.
Love the way your quilt has come together - great effort.

Thank you crafty, once I learn the basics of machine quilting, I will do some smaller items then try the quilt. could be awhile yet

Once I do though, I will update here.

update: quilt still just a top, but now I know how to sandwich it, and quilt it on the machine, and bind it, so one step closer. Now to find a place big enough to spread it out for the sandwiching process.
Made a lap quilt in a sewing class mother in law wanted me to take with her, and she had the spray basting, LOVE IT, so much easier, and no safety pins to deal with.

Update on cabinets... some of you may remember my mentioning that we had a leak, well it is now over a month later and they are finally going to replace the cabinets!
